Oversized Japanese Shigaraki pottery rice storage jar, with a tapered bulbous body, flared neck, turned rim, and a surface featuring a textured glaze with various shades of greens, browns, and yellows and dark vertical drip patterns, from one of Japan’s six ancient kilns, most likely Shōwa Period, approximately 32-1/2″ (H).
