Oversized Japanese Shigaraki pottery rice storage jar, with a tapered bulbous body, flared neck, turned rim, and a surface featuring a textured glaze with a yellowish base and dark vertical drip patterns, from one of Japan’s six ancient kilns, most likely Shōwa Period, approximately 30″ (H).
