Pair of Chinese Late Qing Dynasty Moonflask Form Lamps
Description
Pair of Chinese late Qing Dynasty (1636-1912) moonflask form vases, with incised designs featuring a central lotus blossom surrounded by a dense pattern of flowing tendrils and leaves in a vibrant turquoise crackle glaze, circa late 19th/early 20th Century. The vases were mounted as table or boudoir lamps at a later date, with oval tapered shades, on round turned dark wood bases, 22-1/2″ (H) to top of shades. Provenance: Private collection (Birmingham, Michigan). CONDITION: Working at time of cataloguing. No chips, cracks, or damage visible. SHIPPING: Local pickup or 3rd party shipping only.
