The YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing is hosting the Legacy of Magic Gala, a once-in-a-generation event honoring Earvin “Magic” Johnson and the Johnson Family for their lasting impact on the Greater Lansing community. On August 22nd, the Breslin Center will come alive with a formal gala, tribute program, and a high-energy live auction — conducted by Bob Howe and Epic Auctions & Estate Sales.

From his early days at the YMCA of Lansing to becoming a global icon, Magic Johnson’s journey reflects the power of opportunity, perseverance, and community. Proceeds from the live and silent auctions will fund YMCA scholarships and facility improvements for future generations.

Pickup: Friday and Saturday after the auction by appointment only in Leslie, MI. Shipping available on most items. Larger items must be picked up in person or via a shipper of your choice — we recommend Pak Mail in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Buyer’s Premium: 20% on all purchases. Sales tax applied to all winning Michigan bidders. Tax-exempt Michigan bidders must submit Form 3372. All invoices charged to card at auction close. No payments accepted at pickup.
