Capodimonte-Style Porcelain Parakeet Figure
Description
Late 19th/Early 20th Century capodimonte-style German revival porcelain model of a budgerigar (parakeet). The bird is expertly rendered with a vibrant yellow crown and throat, a vivid green body, and meticulously painted black-scalloped wing plumage. It sits atop a gnarled, naturalistic white tree trunk base, notably embellished with two hand-modeled red fruits and delicate floral blossoms. Produced in either Rudolstadt or Bavaria. The underside features the authentic blue underglaze crowned ‘S’ factory mark. CONDITION: Damage to the tail feather – see last photo. SHIPPING: In-House Shipping Available
