Description
Carl Sheidig porcelain macaw parrot figurine, circa mid-20th Century. A finely detailed naturalistic model of a South American macaw parrot, hand-molded and hand-painted in vibrant polychrome enamels. The bird features red, orange, and yellow plumage accented by deep green and blue flight feathers, perched on a gnarled tree stump base with molded foliate details. High-gloss finish typical of Thuringian Germany animalier porcelain. Base bears a blue underglaze mark with crown over ‘S’. CONDITION: SHIPPING: In-House Shipping Available
