Lot 555:
Antique English Copper Tea Kettle Brass Handle Spout
Description
Antique English copper tea kettle, possibly dating to the early to mid-19th century (c. 1820–1850). This piece features a heavy-gauge copper body with an ornate brass goose-neck spout and scrolled handle. The hand-hammered martelage surface texture and brazed dovetail seam visible on the base confirm its pre-industrial origin. Unmarked, as typical for bespoke workshop items of the era, it showcases high-level independent coppersmithing techniques characteristic of George III/Victorian craftsmanship. 14″ (H). CONDITION: Some surface wear and patina on the copper. Minor scratches visible on the body. SHIPPING: In-House Shipping Available
