Chinese Tang Dynasty Horse Figure from Austin Productions 1961
Description
Mid Century Modern Era, Tang Dynasty style horse sculpture, by Austin Productions (Brooklyn, NY 1951-2009), and dated 1961. The piece depicts a recumbent horse with a textured surface, stylized mane and tail, and a rounded body. Cast durastone finished in a light beige or tan matte glaze and features a flat, stable base.
