Chinese Carved Hardwood Immortal Figure with Children and Stand
Description
Carved hardwood Chinese figural sculpture most likely depicting an immortal or traveling sage with children, carrying a staff and bundle over the shoulder and a basket below. Made of a stained hardwood, possibly teak, monkey pod, or rosewood. Circa mid to late 20th Century. Stands 16-1/2″ (H) and weighs 4.5lbs.
