Royal Satsuma Ceramic Jardiniere Figures Landscape
Description
Royal Satsuma ceramic jardiniere or planter or cachepot pot or bowl featuring colorful hand-painted scenes of figures in traditional clothing, landscapes with mountains and trees, and an interior design of fish and bamboo. The rim is accented with decorative gold trim. The base is marked ‘HANDPAINTED ROYAL SATSUMA,’ indicating late 20th–early 21st century mass production rather than authentic Meiji-period Satsuma pottery. Weighs 16.4lbs. Approx. 14 diameter and 12″ tall. CONDITION: Some staining visible on the interior surface. No visible chips or cracks observed. SHIPPING: In-House Shipping Available
