Maxfield Parrish (AM, 1870-1966) 1928 Edison Mazda Bulbs Calendar
Description
Framed 1928 Maxfield Parrish (American, 1870-1966) illustrated calendar for Edison Mazda Lamps and Williams Bicycle & Auto Supply Co. (Cleveland, Ohio), titled “Contentment”, in a later painted composite frame measuring 23-1/4″ x 13-5/16″. CONDITION: Not examined out of frame but restoration is clearly evident. A crease, or possible tear, horizontally across the center of the calendar has been repaired and retouched. As well, the entire lower right corner has been reconstructed as has a smaller portion of the lower left corner. The year leaf and all the individual month leaves are missing. Please see photos.
