Alberto Vargas (Joaquin Alberto Vargas y Chávez) (Peruvian/American, 1896-1982), pin-up illustration depicting a lady reclining and holding a mask, for the 1943 MGM musical comedy film, “DuBarry Was a Lady”, directed by Roy Del Ruth, and starring Red Skelton, Lucille Ball, Gene Kelly, and Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra, in a black composite frame measuring, 11-13/16″ x 17-13/16″.
