7 Antique German Imperial Bonn Majolica “Astra” Plates
Description
Group of seven antique Imperial Bonn Majolica ‘Astra’ plates by Ludwig Wessel, circa 1875–1910. Each plate features a high-gloss olive green background with hand-painted pink flowers and green foliage, scalloped edges with embossed scrollwork, and a central floral spray depicting anemonies or wild roses. Marked on back ‘IMPERIAL-BONN 1755 GERMANY’ with numbers 1 and 2. CONDITION: Some plates show surface scratches. One plate has a small chip on the edge. Please see photos.
