Description
Louis Marx & Co. tin lithographed wind-up airplane toy featuring colorful graphics, a yellow and blue propeller, and red and green wings with circular patterns. The airplane is marked with “Louis Marx & Co.” and “N.Y. U.S.A. PATS. PENDG.” and includes a key wind mechanism. Accompanied by an orange tin hangar with “AIRMAIL HANGAR” text, arrow graphics, and printed windows and door graphics. Includes a metal key with a clover-shaped handle. Measures 7″. CONDITION: Surface wear and scratches on the hangar. Rust visible inside the hangar. Hot glue on top edge of hanger, lid won’t stay closed. Tape residue on the airplane body.
