Description
Tin lithographed wind-up musical doghouse toy, approx 7.5 inches long. Marked ‘FIDO’S MUSICAL DOG HOUSE’, “GENUINE SWISS MUSICAL UNIT”, “MADE IN SWITZERLAND”, “FIDO”, “WELCOME”, “THREE TURNS DOOR OPENS”, and “TURN”. Features a red roof, yellow woodgrain-patterned walls, and colorful illustrations of anthropomorphic dogs playing musical instruments. The front door opens to reveal a white dog figure inside. Measures 8″. CONDITION: Minor surface wear and scuffing visible on the edges and corners of the tin. Some wear to the lithographed graphics, particularly near the edges of the roof and door.
