Fitz and Floyd Coq du Village rooster tureen, hand-painted ceramic. This figural tureen features a vibrant rooster with feathers in shades of gold, green, blue, and purple, sitting atop a bed of garden vegetables including a red tomato and greens. The lid is removable and fits securely onto the body of the rooster. Marked ‘© FITZ and FLOYD China 1986’ on the base, with an additional sticker reading ‘FITZ and FLOYD Hand-Painted Surface.’ Produced as part of a French Country-inspired series, this piece is both decorative and functional, often used for serving soups or stews.
