Bauer & Coble Studios (Galesburg, MI) Tiffany Style Leaded Glass Lamp
Description
Bauer and Coble Studios (Galesburg, Michigan) Tiffany style leaded stained glass table lamp, in the “Apple Blossom and Web” pattern, with an apple blossom, leaf, and spiderweb motif, on a stylized cast bronze base with inverted flora form feet, marked on bottom with the Bauer & Coble cartouche and other marks including the date, 20″ x 28″ (H). Bauer and Coble Studios was a small production artist lead studio, founded by Bob Bauer and John Coble near Kalamazoo, Michigan, that was in operation from 1972 till 1990. They were highly unique in that they produced both the bases as well as the shades. Their lamps are highly sort after today by collectors and rarely appear on the market, especially in this monumental size. CONDITION: Working at time of cataloguing.
