Description
A fine two-piece lot of antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) featuring a footed pitcher and a coordinating footed tumbler, both in the classic ‘Excelsior’ pattern family. Both pieces are crafted from heavy, resonant flint glass with exceptional clarity. The Pitcher: Features deep oval thumbprints transitioning into vertical flutes on a waisted pedestal base with a rayed/starburst foot. Includes an elegantly applied glass handle and a scalloped rim.The Tumbler: A matching footed vessel with a single row of prominent oval motifs on a short, faceted stem and circular base CONDITION: Small chip on the base of the tumbler.
