Neoclassical Style Hanging Nesting Tables, Partial
Description
Partial nesting table set of 20th-century design. The lot consists of a square primary occasional table and one of its original two secondary drop-leaf tables. The main table features a smooth, finished top set above an apron decorated with brass-toned oval medallions. It is supported by fluted, turned legs joined by a perimeter stretcher. The secondary table is designed to hang vertically from an integrated sliding track system beneath the main tabletop. Hardwood construction with a polished mahogany or fruitwood-toned finish; accented by yellow-metal (brass-style) hardware, including one drop handle on the secondary table. Style reflects Neoclassical / Italian Provincial influence. Dimensions: 21 inches (H) and 20 inches (L and W). Measures 21″. CONDITION: Missing one of the nesting tables.
