Ceramic Chicken Hen on Nest Covered Dish
Description
Ceramic hen on nest tureen of a chicken hen on nest resting in a woven basket. The chicken features a white body with textured feathers and an orange comb, while the basket is orange with a woven pattern. The base of the chicken figure is dark brown, resembling soil or nesting material, and bears a mark reading ‘273’. Two holes are visible in the base, consistent with clay production venting. Approx. 6″ long and 5″ tall. CONDITION: Minor surface wear observed on the basket; no visible chips or cracks. SHIPPING: In-House Shipping Available
