Steuben Blue Aurene #686 Twist Candlesticks, 12-1/4" (H)
Description
Steuben Glass (Corning, New York) pair of American art glass Blue Aurene twist candlesticks, model 686, from the Frederick Carder (English/American, 1863-1963) era, circa 1910-1920. Each candlestick features a twisted stem and flared top with a blue iridescent finish characteristic of Aurene glass. The bases have rough pontil marks and are marked “Aurene” and “686”. Height: 12-1/4″ inches. Provenance: Private collection (Birmingham, Michigan). CONDITION: No visible chips, cracks, or repairs in the photos.
