Ceramic Egg Containers with Chick and Rabbit Finials
Description
Two ceramic egg-shaped containers with lids, featuring animal finials and painted leaf patterns. The orange container is topped with a yellow chick figure, while the yellow container is topped with a white rabbit figure wearing an orange shirt. The underside of the yellow container bears a mark reading ‘MADE IN JAPAN,’ confirming post-1921 manufacture. Each is about 3″W. CONDITION: The yellow container has a visible crack.
