Royal Paris Textile Group with Alphabet Sampler
Description
Group of four textile pieces including an alphabet sampler with floral motifs and a house, a floral tapestry panel with a central landscape scene, a yellow fabric panel with fringe edges, and a woman’s portrait labeled ‘Royal Paris’ with pattern number 2532 titled ‘Nature morte d’apres Jan Van Os’. The textiles are made of cotton and reflect 19th-century French production techniques. Measure about 20″ for smaller. CONDITION: Fringe on the floral tapestry panel shows some wear.
