Michigan Engineers labeled metal box manufactured by Sheil and Metal Mfg., Chicago, Ill. The box features a turquoise exterior with a cream-colored lid, gold-painted interior, and a metal latch closure. Visible text includes ‘MICHIGAN ENGINEERS’ on the front and ‘SHEIL AND METAL MFG. CHICAGO, ILL.’ on the latch. Hinges are present on the back of the lid. Measures about 14″ tall. CONDITION: Surface scratches and wear on the exterior. Some discoloration on the latch.
