Limoges Porcelain Egg Box with Chicken Decoration, 1990s
Description
Limoges porcelain rectangular egg box with painted chicken decoration. The box features a hinged lid with a gold-tone clasp shaped like a chicken, and a painted scene of two chickens in a green field. Visible markings include ‘1ère Qualité’ on the lid, ‘123 017 6420’ on the side, and ‘DATE: 17.12.97’. The interior contains six white egg-shaped objects, likely decorative trinkets.
