Coca-Cola Hilda Clark Litho Tin Serving Tray 1900
Description
Coca-Cola 9-1/2″ round lithographed tin serving tray, produced by The Meek & Beach Company (Coshocton, Ohio), depicting Hilda Clark with roses and wearing a pearl necklace, framed by a border of cocoa pods, leaves, and flowers, circa 1900-1903. Hilda Clark (1872-1932) was an American singer, actress, and socialite who became the iconic “face” and the first celebrity endorser of Coca-Cola, until marrying business tycoon Frederick Stanton Flower in 1903.
