Vintage Straits Mfg. Reversible Game Board
Description
Vintage reversible board game set manufactured by Straits Manufacturing Co., Detroit, Michigan. One side features a red and black checkerboard with scalloped gold accents around the border, while the other side displays a vibrant Chinese checkers design with colorful dragon-themed graphics and a star-shaped playfield. Includes a set of 14 red and 16 black checkers, packaged in a resealable plastic bag. The checkerboard inches square. The markings on the checkerboard state ‘American Made Toys for American Girls and Boys’.
CONDITION: The reversible game board shows moderate wear consistent with age and use, including edge wear, visible surface scratches, and areas of fading in the painted detail. The colorful graphics on the Chinese checkers side retain their vibrancy but exhibit minor wear. The checkers are complete based on provided count, packaged for convenience, and appear free from damage. Structurally, the board is intact and functional.
