Description
Colt New Service revolver chambered in .45 Colt with a 5.5-inch barrel and serial number 326945. Manufactured circa 1927 based on the serial number. The barrel is marked ‘NEW SERVICE .45 COLT,’ and the top bears Colt’s patent markings dated August 5, 1884, and July 4, 1905. Features include a blued finish, six-shot cylinder, fixed sights, and checkered black synthetic grips embossed with ‘COLT.’ The frame, barrel, and other parts show consistent factory markings with no visible alterations. Standard configuration for this model.
CONDITION: The revolver shows moderate wear to the blued finish, particularly around high points and edges. Some light scratches and handling marks are present throughout. The bore appears clean and shows visible rifling. The cylinder locks up securely, and the action cycles smoothly. Grips are intact with some signs of light surface wear.
