Description
St. Etienne Model 1892 revolver chambered in 8mm Lebel with a 4.5-inch barrel and serial number H51040. Manufactured at the French state armory in St. Etienne, this revolver features a blued finish, six-shot cylinder, and fixed front and rear sights. The barrel is marked ‘Mle 1892’ and ‘S 1913,’ indicating production year, and the frame is marked with ‘Mre d’Armes St. Etienne.’ It is fitted with checkered wooden grips with a lanyard ring at the butt. This historically significant firearm is an example of the French officer’s service revolver utilized during the WWI period.
