Description
Inland Division M1 Carbine semi-automatic rifle chambered in .30 Carbine, serial number 6688738. Barrel length measures approximately 18.5 inches. Receiver is stamped “Inland Div.”. The barrel is marked “Inland General” with visible proof marks. The rifle is fitted with a folding wire stock with leather cheek pad, walnut hand guard, adjustable rear sight, and a green web sling. The M1 Carbine was originally developed during World War II as a lightweight and compact firearm for U.S. troops.
CONDITION: The wood stock and handguard show moderate handling wear with visible dents, scratches, and finish wear consistent with age and use. The metal components exhibit finish loss, particularly on the barrel and wire stock assembly. The barrel bore appears clean with sharp rifling based on visual inspection. The folding stock locks securely in both extended and folded positions. Action cycles smoothly and retains full functionality.
