Description
Inland Division M1 Carbine, .30 caliber, semi-automatic rifle, serial number 6688738. Barrel length measures approximately 18.5 inches. Features a folding wire stock with leather cheek pad, walnut stock and handguard, adjustable rear sight, and a green web sling. Barrel is marked “Inland General” with visible proof marks. Receiver is clearly stamped “Inland Div. 6688738”. This firearm is a classic World War II-era design, originally developed as a lightweight and compact firearm for U.S. troops.
CONDITION: The wood stock and handguard show moderate handling wear with visible dents, scratches, and finish wear consistent with age and use. The metal components exhibit finish loss, particularly on the barrel and wire stock assembly. The barrel bore appears clean with sharp rifling based on visual inspection. The folding stock locks securely in both extended and folded positions. Action cycles smoothly and retains full functionality. The green web sling is intact and in fair condition, exhibiting some fraying.
