Description

Grouping of heavy machine gun parts, including what appears to be a Browning M2 .50 caliber receiver segment with visible riveted construction, a segment of a barrel (approx. 22 inches in length), a muzzle brake with evident perforated design, a trunnion, and associated pieces. Markings on the receiver indicate manufacture by Frigidaire under General Motors during the World War II era. Serial number 162372 is visible on the receiver. The components show heavy wear, patina, and damage consistent with age and field use. Not a complete or functioning firearm, and select parts exhibit substantial material loss.
CONDITION: Components exhibit significant rust, corrosion, and surface patina. The receiver segment displays structural damage with visible bending and material loss. The barrel segment shows heavy pitting and oxide accumulation. The trunnion and muzzle brake also reveal substantial wear and oxidation. No evidence of functional integrity or completeness is visible. These parts are heavily degraded, suitable for restoration, display, or salvage.
