Remington P-17 .30-06 Bolt Rifle, 26" Barrel
Description
Remington Model P-17 Bolt Action Rifle chambered in .30-06. Serial number 493301. Manufactured during World War I by Remington under contract for the U.S. military. This rifle features a 26-inch barrel with a blued finish, a fixed front sight, and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The receiver is marked ‘U.S. MODEL OF 1917 REMINGTON 493301.’ The stock is crafted from wood, with various ordnance markings visible on the buttstock. The rifle is equipped with sling swivels, a polished bolt handle, and a metal buttplate. A solid example of a military-issue rifle, representative of early 20th-century craftsmanship.
