Remington Model 141A .35 Rem Rifle
Description
Remington Model 141A GameMaster, .35 Rem caliber, pump-action rifle, serial number 47802. Manufactured by Remington Arms Co., Inc., Ilion, NY, USA. The rifle features a 24-inch blued barrel with full-length tubular magazine and a blade front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked ‘.35 REM’ and includes visible patent information. The receiver is blued and engraved with ‘The GameMaster Model 141’ and the Remington brand name. The stock is smooth wood with a semi-pistol grip buttstock and grooved forend. The buttplate is a checkered black synthetic material marked ‘Remington.’
CONDITION: The rifle shows signs of wear consistent with age and usage. The blued finish displays areas of thinning and surface wear, particularly along the receiver and magazine tube. The wooden stock and forend exhibit dings, scratches, and handling marks but remain structurally sound. The checkered buttplate shows wear and surface scuffs. The bore appears clean, with visible rifling, though detailed inspection is recommended. Mechanically, the pump-action operates, but functionality and safety checks should be conducted by a qualified gunsmith before use.
