Gun Cleaning Kit in Vintage 7.62mm Ammo Box
Description
Vintage ammunition box with military-style olive drab steel construction marked for 200 cartridges of 7.62mm M13. The box measures approximately 11 inches in length and retains its original yellow factory markings, including specifications such as ‘M62-4 M80 LC-84B600511-A131.’ The exterior shows additional handwritten markings, including ‘Muzzle Loader’ and ‘FOR M.G. M60-M73.’ Inside the box is a gun cleaning kit comprising a brass cleaning tool, red lubricant spray can, cleaning patches, and other accessories as visible in the images. The box features a hinged lid with a secure clasp closure for storage.
CONDITION: The ammunition box shows moderate surface wear consistent with its age and prior use, including scattered scratches, areas of paint loss, and visible remnants of old adhesive labels. The handwritten markings are legible but exhibit some fading. The contents of the cleaning kit, including the lubricant can and other tools, are visibly used but intact. Cleaning patches appear discolored from prior use. The hinged lid opens and closes securely, with no functional issues noted.
