Thompson Center Contender .223 Rem + .22 LR Barrel
Description
Thompson Center Contender in .223 Remington. Single-shot break-action rifle with a 21-inch barrel, serial number 308856. Manufactured by Thompson Center Arms, Rochester, NH. Features include a blued steel finish, richly grained hardwood stock and forend with checkering at the grip and forend, and a rubber butt pad. Mounted with a Bushnell Sharpshooter scope, adjustable for magnification ranging from 4x to 9x. Receiver sides are engraved with intricate scrollwork and a mountain lion motif. Includes an extra new-in-box .22 LR Match barrel, also of 21 inches. Comes fitted with a black synthetic sling.
CONDITION: The firearm exhibits light handling wear consistent with minimal use. The blued steel finish shows minor marks, but no significant loss or deep scratches. Wood stock and forend are in excellent condition, retaining a smooth finish with only a few minor surface marks. Bore of the .223 barrel is bright and clean with strong rifling. Scope lenses are clear, with exterior showing light wear. Rubber butt pad is in excellent condition. Included .22 LR Match barrel remains sealed in original packaging and is unused.
