Pair of Vintage Carved Wooden Duck Decoys
Description
A pair of carved wooden duck decoys exhibiting traditional craftsmanship and distinctive character. The larger decoy measures approximately 16 inches in length, while the smaller one is approximately 14 inches in length, as determined using the visible measurements in the photographs. Both decoys feature aged and weathered paint finishes in shades of black, brown, and green, with intricate carving details depicting the ducks’ heads and bodies. The larger decoy has a high-profile head and a slightly broader body, while the smaller one displays a flat, low-profile design. Each decoy is equipped with a weighted keel, visible on the undersides, enhancing their functionality as working decoys.
