Military Insignia Pins & Buttons Assortment
Description
A group of military insignia pins and buttons, predominantly featuring U.S. Army and Navy motifs. The set showcases a variety of designs, including large and small eagle motifs with heraldic shields, a U.S. Navy anchor design stamped with ‘C.G.DE MTL ANC HOPE,’ and buttons with ornate ‘P’ monograms surrounded by laurel wreaths. One pin portrays the insignia for the Veterans of Foreign Wars with ’30’ indicated at the base. The buttons and pins are largely gold-toned, with some exhibiting patina and visible oxidation.
CONDITION: The items show varying degrees of wear consistent with age and use. Several buttons display surface corrosion, especially one blue-green oxidized button, as visible in images. There is tarnishing and some loss of finish on a few pieces, while others retain a brighter sheen. All buttons appear structurally intact, with fasteners present where applicable.
