4 Vintage Cork-Handled Fishing Rods, Mixed
Description
Group of four vintage cork-handled fishing rods in assorted configurations, each broken down into smaller sections. Included are: (1) Olympic 3180 fly rod, 8 ft, 2-piece construction, marked on the rod; (2) Heddon Pal ‘Expert,’ also marked; and two additional rods of similar style and era. Constructed with cork handles and various rod materials, including wood and metal. Notable brands and markings indicate mid-20th century manufacture. These rods showcase traditional craftsmanship and a range of fishing styles.
CONDITION: All rods exhibit significant signs of use, including wear to the finishes, scratches, and scuffs. The cork handles show discoloration, cracking, and portions of wear consistent with heavy use. Some metal components have surface corrosion, particularly on connecting ferrules and guides.
