Lot 123:
Smith & Wesson Model 34-1 .22 LR Revolver
Description
Smith & Wesson Model 34-1, .22 Long Rifle (LR) caliber revolver. This double-action revolver features a 4-inch barrel with clear barrel markings that read “.22 Long Rifle CTG.” and “Smith & Wesson.” The serial number “M61618” is located on the butt. The revolver is equipped with a case-colored hammer and trigger, a six-round cylinder, and factory-smooth wooden grips with Smith & Wesson medallions inset. The frame displays the Smith & Wesson logo and “Made in U.S.A.” markings visible on the side. The blued finish is well-preserved, providing an appealing contrast to the case-colored components. Manufactured circa late 1968 to early 1977 based on the model and serial number.
CONDITION: The revolver retains most of its original blued finish with some minor handling marks visible on the barrel and frame. The cylinder has minor wear in the form of a faint drag line. The bore appears bright with sharp rifling as observed in the photos. The wooden grips display minimal wear with no significant chips or cracks. The action appears functional based on the visual assessment, with precise cylinder lock-up and smooth trigger pull. Case coloring on the hammer and trigger remains prominent with minimal fading.
