Colt Match Target HBAR Competition Rifle chambered in .223 Remington/5.56x45mm NATO with a 21-inch heavy chrome-lined barrel marked “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR.” The firearm features a matte black finish, a forged aluminum receiver marked “Colt’s Mfg. Co. Inc., Hartford, Conn., U.S.A.,” and A2-style sight adjustments integrated into the carry handle. Notable elements include a fixed synthetic stock and an upper handguard with ribbed texturing for a secure grip. A muzzle brake is affixed to the threaded barrel end. Mounted with a Professional 5x33L illuminated reticle scope, the optics are installed on a carry handle scope mount. The serial number is CCH017430, placing production in the early to mid-1990s.
