Description
Blue Jacket 1-1/2 double-action top-break revolver chambered in .22 caliber, with markings on the top strap reading “BLUE JACKET 1-1/2” and “PAT. MAY 27. 79.” This is a small-frame revolver featuring a 2.75-inch barrel, a fluted cylinder, and a knurled cylinder release. The grips are black hard rubber with detailed scalloped and floral patterns, each adorned with inset dog head medallions at the top. The revolver retains a nickel-plated finish showing heavy wear throughout, with areas of patina and oxidation visible on the barrel, cylinder, and frame.
CONDITION: The revolver exhibits significant finish loss, with the nickel plating worn away in many areas, revealing a dull gray patina. Scattered oxidation and surface pitting are present, particularly on the barrel and cylinder. The black hard rubber grips show wear and some discoloration consistent with age, with a small chip visible at the bottom of one grip panel.
