Landscape painting on canvas mounted to board, by Giacomo Mercurio Spicuzza (American, 1901-1987), born in Detroit Michigan, studied at Cass Technical High School and the John Wicker School of Fine Arts both in Detroit, painted for the WPA and a member of the Scarab Club, signed “G. M. Spicuzza” lower right, in a stained and gilt oak frame measuring 28-3/4″ x 24″. CONDITION: Older repair lower right, and some pin holes at edges.
