17 P. Buckley Moss Society pins, also known as “Patricia Buckley Moss” (American, 1933-2024). All are pinned to a moire fabric pull, or ribbon, with the corresponding rosette at the top and a hanger ring on the back. One is Kirk-Stieff pewter and the other 16 are porcelain. Includes pins for 1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, as well as the 15 Year Member pin. Moss, who Charles Kuralt in 1988 called “The People’s Artist”, was born in Staten Island, New York and studied art at Cooper Union College. She is most famous for her depictions of rural life and landscapes in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, frequently including Amish and Mennonite subjects.
