Set of four L. Hitchcock (Riverton, Connecticut) limited edition Christmas fancy side chairs, for 1972 (“124” or “12 H”), 1973 (#85/100), 1974 (#20/100), and 1975 (#27/100), hand-stencilled and hand-painted, each signed lower left “M. Morgan” for Mel Morgan, the Art Director at L. Hitchcock for many years. In addition, the 1974 and 1975 chairs are also marked on the underside of the back rung “Marshall Fields and Company Chicago”. Each chair measures approximately 18-5/8″ (L) x 18-5/8″ (W) x 35-3/8″ (H). CONDITION: Some minor scratches and scuffs commensurate with age and use, please see photos.
