U.S. Army Air Forces Marching Compass, Mark VII Mod E, manufactured by Sperry Gyroscope Co., Brooklyn, N.Y., under contract for Randolph–Osborne Co. Olive-drab metal housing with hinged sighting pointers and rotating bezel, accompanied by its original fitted brown leather belt case. WWII-era production.
CONDITION: Compass exterior retains most of its olive-drab finish with minor surface wear and light oxidation around the screws. Glass remains intact with functional sighting indicators. Leather case shows age patina and light scuffing with intact stitching and snap closure.
