German folding knife attributed to the SS Streifendienst (Patrol Service). Brass-bodied gravity knife marked “SS–Streifendienst” and engraved “M7/66/34/SS”, with Carl Eickhorn, Solingen maker’s squirrel logo on the blade. Features 4½” double-edged spear-point blade, 7?” overall length when open, and 5¾” folded. Fitted with nickel-plated clip bearing the German eagle emblem.
CONDITION: Blade shows gray patina with scattered oxidation and sharpening marks. Maker’s logo remains distinct. Brass frame exhibits uniform age toning and light pitting consistent with age and handling. Clip retains partial plating with wear to high points. Mechanism operates smoothly.
