Description

German WWII Luftwaffe Officer’s dagger, 2nd Model (1937 pattern). Features a 10″ double-edged steel blade, ivory-toned celluloid grip with twisted wire wrap, and nickel fittings including the distinctive Luftwaffe eagle crossguard clutching a swastika and sunwheel pommel. Complete with pebbled nickel-plated scabbard fitted with twin suspension rings. Overall length 16½ inches.
CONDITION: Blade shows light gray toning and surface freckling with mild edge wear. Grip remains intact with uniform age toning and tight wire wrap. Nickel fittings retain sharp detail with darkened patina in recesses. Scabbard displays consistent age oxidation and surface wear with no dents.
