Swedish Model M37/65 Steel Helmet
Description
Original Swedish M37/65 steel combat helmet finished in olive drab. Interior retains the crossed-swords ordnance marking along with size markings for a 64 shell and size 2 liner. Fitted with the correct tan leather liner and matching chinstrap secured by aluminum hardware. Issued during the 1956–1970s period, these helmets were a modernization of the earlier M37 pattern and saw extended service use with both Swedish and Finnish forces.
CONDITION: Shows light surface wear with minor scuffs to exterior paint. Liner remains supple and intact with clean stitching and legible size markings. Chinstrap is complete and functional. Overall, a very good example of the Swedish postwar M37/65 helmet showing honest light use and excellent preservation.
