German SA Dagger by Fr. V. D. Kohlen
Description
German World War II Sturmabteilung (SA) dagger manufactured by Fr. V. D. Kohlen of Solingen. Blade is etched with the standard SA motto “Alles für Deutschland” in Gothic script. Features nickel-plated crossguard and pommel fittings, hardwood grip with inset German national eagle, and enamel SA roundel near the pommel. Accompanied by its correct brown-finished steel scabbard with nickel-plated throat and tip fittings. Blade length 8¾ inches, overall 15¼ inches.
CONDITION: Blade exhibits uniform gray patina with moderate surface oxidation and light pitting consistent with age. Etched motto remains legible though darkened by oxidation. Grip shows visible handling wear and small edge losses. Fittings display tarnish and age patina. Scabbard retains much of its finish with scattered flaking and wear, and minor denting near the tip.
